Bill Schwartz is a seasoned business executive with an outstanding history of accomplishment. His insatiable curiosity drives him to view every viable opportunity as a pathway to success. He is unique in his ability to comprehend scientific complexity and creatively bring products to market from concept to roll-out. His background includes being the President of several leading-edge companies in the fields of medicine and nutraceuticals. In his early business career, he developed products for Kraft Foods, Johnson & Johnson, Proctor & Gamble, Alcoa, Bayer, and many other companies. His tenure as EVP of Aphton led to breakthrough diagnostic products and agreements with Kyowa Hakko for gastric and pancreatic cancer products. When Schwartz was President of Life Enhancement, a manufacturer of Nutritional Supplements, he secured a regional agreement with the Berjaya Group/Cosway to supply a nutritional protein drink that was successfully marketed for years in thirty-one countries. At Gen Am, he launched the world’s first Automated Pap Smear Reader for cervical cancer. He introduced Glucosamine Chondroitin to Japan and other international markets while Director of International Business Development for Rexall. He was also a Business Development Advisor for the governments of New Zealand, Ireland, Japan and Israel. As president of West Nally, he represented the Olympics, The World Cup and Davis Cup. He attended CCNY and The Boyce Thompson Institute studying Phytopathology and plant propagation.
